Hi, I’m Bill Backhouse, I am the owner of Katherine Massage Clinic.

I have been involved in the Massage Industry for over 15 years.

I have a Diploma in Remedial Massage and a Diploma in Anatomy & Physiology.

I have studied as a Student Ambulance Paramedic here in the Northern Territory and have completed the Clinical One Stage of the Diploma Paramedic Science (Ambulance) Course.

I have operated from within a Chiropractic Clinic, Physiotherpist Clinic and a Doctor’s Surgery.

I currently receive referrals from Doctors, Physio’s and Chiropractors.

I am a Professional Member of Massage Australia and I am accredited with Territory Insurance Office, Comcare, NT Worksafe and the majority of Private Health Funds for Remedial Massage Rebates.

My passion is for treating people and trying to help rectify what problems they may have, whether that be Sports Injuries, Post Surgery, Muscular Disorders or any type of aches or pains.

Trying to fix and maintain a person’s imbalances can be difficult, but with proper treatment I believe is achievable and rewarding for both the Practitioner and the client/patient.

I spend many hours of study to keep up to date with my knowledge so I can convert that through my hands to my clients.

The clinic specializes in Remedial, Deep Tissue, Sports, Relaxation and Pregnancy Massages.

My wife Lanie completed her studies in the Philippines and received a Certificate in Relaxation Massage. She is very passionate about her massaging and is always learning to constantly improve her knowledge and techniques. She has a heart of gold, is harmonious and in my opinion is the best wife in the world!

I believe with our passion and skill set we bring positive results and joy into the hearts of our clients.
